What a Wonderful Year!

Wow! Can you believe that this is our last week of school?! Time has really flown by! This has been such an amazing year, we have learned so much from each other and made such great friends! I am really going to miss all of you! I can't believe you are only 4 days away from being 3rd graders! You have made me so proud! Love you all!! Ms. Wolff xo

Celebrating Earth Day

The weather was beautiful for our Earth Day walk to the park! There were so many things to see. How adorable were the baby ducklings? It is truly a treat to see different animals in their natural habitats. It was also a lot of fun to release our butterflies. I'm pretty sure that they were ready to get out into nature! I'm sure next time you visit the park, you will see everything just a little bit differently...

Hard Work Pays Off!

All of you worked SO hard on your biographies! They were really amazing! I was so proud of the incredible projects that you completed! It really goes to show that hard work pays off!! The GT Showcase was great! Kathrinne, Taitum and Valerie represented our class and made us all proud. Congratulations girls on your excellent work!!

Who's who?

I am so excited that we are finally getting some of our products finished for our Biography project! Since the showcase is on April 17th, we should be seeing some great products soon! In the mean time, Valerie has finished her poster about Amelia Earhart. She has worked SO hard on this and it turned out awesome! Keep up the great work!

Reading Marathon

I know, two posts in one day! I just have so much to share and I didn't wanted to leave out any of the fun! Thursday's Reading Marathon was a blast!! I loved getting to wear my pj's to school, I know you did too! You all looked so cute! Congratulations to Paul and Valerie for winning the marathon!! You both did A LOT of reading!! Way to go!! I also loved how great your bookmarks turned out! You really had some funny poses and they really make you look like you are "Falling Up!"

Spring is in the Air!

The sun is shining, the weather is warm and flowers are blooming. Spring is in the air! It is a perfect time for planting in Science! We started with different types of grass. We planted alfalfa grass and rye grass. Were you surprised how quickly the grass grew? Next week, we will create our terrariums with our snails, isopods and worms! Can't wait... :)

February Flew By!!

Wow! I can't believe how quickly February flew past us! It's already March and almost time for Spring Break! I know I'm ready!! Anyway, we had a busy month. First, we WON the door contest! So exciting!! Our door was awesome and I know you all worked so hard on it. Here is a picture of your hard work...

We have also been so busy working on our Biography project. Your research is coming along great, and I can't wait to see the finished products. Stay tuned....
